Performing Arts: Choir
Join NBSS Choir to build vocal skills, stage confidence, and teamwork through performances and competitions. Members gain a strong foundation in music and grow as well-rounded performers.
Overview
In NBSS, students will have numerous opportunities to hone and showcase their talents through a variety of performances, from school concerts to external events. These experiences not only nurture their growth as performers but also instil valuable skills such as stage presence, confidence, and teamwork.
By the end of the programme, choir members will have developed a well-rounded understanding of vocal performance and music theory, equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel as musicians.
What We Do
Training Sessions: Once a week (Tuesday) / 2 times per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for SYF period
Competitions/Performances: Singapore Youth Festival 2025, Navy IMDEX 2023 & 2025, National Day Parade 2024
Workshops & Learning Opportunities: External masterclasses, choir exchanges, VIA collaborations, watching concerts
Bonding Activities: Team-building experiences through sports and termly games
